The Best of the League Meets in the Bronx
The Punchline Academy brought some of the strongest MCs from its nationwide Lyric League Series together for a special “Best Of” cypher filmed at The Punchline Academy mural in the Bronx.
After traveling across the country bringing the radio to the streets, the movement came home to the birthplace of hip hop. Artists traveled from Ohio, Kentucky, New York’s Upper West Side and beyond to represent their cities and prove why they earned a spot in this special edition.
The backdrop made the moment even bigger. The official Punchline Academy mural, painted by graffiti artist Jaek El Diablo, represents another piece of the culture and a permanent connection between the platform and the Bronx.
A Serious Lineup of Spittaz
The “Best Of” lineup features Rah Tha Ruler, Shortee Sha, Devine Carama, C4 Crotona, Shadow, Dutchie Dinero, Big Dogg, Eklipz, La Gallo, KrashBattle, Westside Parle and Catalyst.
Adding even more history to the session is hip hop veteran Lord Digga, known for his work with Masta Ace Incorporated. His presence connects the Golden Era directly with a new generation of lyricists, which has become an important part of The Punchline Academy’s identity.

From Street Cyphers to 100 Million Views
Hosted by Da Inphamus Amadeuz, The Punchline Academy has taken the Lyric League Series nationwide, creating cyphers in New York, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Texas, California and beyond. The concept remains simple: go directly into communities and give MCs a platform to represent where they come from.
That formula has helped The Punchline Academy surpass 100 million views across all platforms, while expanding beyond its weekly Shade 45 broadcast into interviews, freestyles, original music, live events and nationwide cyphers.
After taking Lyric League across America, bringing some of its best MCs together beneath the mural in the Bronx feels like a full-circle moment.
